JAMAICA JAMAICA!

Jamaica Jamaica!

After having a desire in my heart for fifteen years, to visit Jamaica, I finally did it!
I faced my fears, took the challenges, prepared as best I could and went, travelling alone, not prepared to wait till someone, some day might want to come with me.  I know that my work as a life coach and having my own coach helped me take action and find fulfillment.

Jamaica spoke to me and blessed me:

Several things happened during the nine days I spent in Jamaica; powerful happenings that call me to return as soon as I can.
I found in Ocho Rios, a beaded bracelet that I loved. On my last day, whilst swimming in the calm, wonderfully warm and blue Caribbean sea, i lost it. My friend and I searched about for fifteen minutes in chest deep water, he being able to see the bottom through some muddiness and me, feeling about amongst the bits of smoothed glass and stones with my toes.
I said it was ok and that he could send me another bracelet as I was leaving within hours.
Suddenly, amongst the bits or rock on the bottom, I felt a circle under my right foot and knew instantly that it was my bracelet.
Replacing it on my wrist I showed my friend and he was amazed that I had found it, without eyesight.
I said “the sea has given it back to me”.

Then as I jetted Eastwards towards London, I adjusted my wind-up travel clock. Arriving in London, I found that it refused to work since leaving Jamaican time.

God also had His hand on me as I safely took two taxis at night in Kingston, having drivers who happend to know the person I was visiting.

The church I attended with a friend, embraced me warmly and thought it no co-incidence that I had come halfway around the world from Australia to Jamaica, a blind woman travelling alone.  I found out the day before leaving Australia that my Pastor had been told by a prophet that he would visit Jamaica, yet, at that time, he knew no one in Jamaica at all.  Now, my church in Australia and the church I attended in Kingston are connected.  After leaving my first church service in Kingston, I took a bus with my friend and during our ride, a Jamaican woman stood up to pray on the bus.  She said that she felt that someone else on our bus was meant to pray and after a few quiet moments, I realized that it was me who must stand up and pray. When ever would I get this opportunity again so I stood and thanked God for my safe travels, and my being in Jamaica and the blessings that were just beginning at that time.

So, a powerful nine days and many new beginnings are mine from Jamaica.

I plan to return early in 2007 for a longer stay and to make arrangements for a more permanent life in Jamaica.
I am so thankful that I achieved my goal.
That is why I love being a Life coach, so I can support others to achieve their own goals.
